Every piece is cut, sewn and finished by hand by our artisans in Bali, made to order in small batches. It's slow fashion, crafted with care from the lacework to the finishing.

What is Gooseberry doing for the planet?

For every order, we fund the removal of a bottle of plastic from the ocean. We produce in small batches to reduce waste, and we ship with DHL GoGreen Plus, which reduces your delivery's carbon emissions using sustainable aviation fuel.

How do I care for it?

Apply with care and if possible, avoid when wearing lighter-colored swim!

Be Mindful of Chemicals:

Be aware of potential fabric-damaging elements like chlorine, harsh detergents, and prolonged exposure to high heat. Hot tubs, spas, and heated pools can be especially harsh on swim fabrics and may cause stretching, fading, or fiber breakdown over time.

Rinse After Every Swim:

After taking a dip in the pool or the ocean, give your swimwear a post-swim rinse. This helps remove salt and chlorine, preserving the integrity of the fabric.

Hand Wash in Cold Water:

Keep the washing machine at bay. Opt for hand washing in cold water to ensure a gentle cleanse without compromising the fabric's quality.
