In the heart of paradise, you’ll find a few things: white sand beaches, breathtaking sunsets, and Gooseberry Intimates. In 2012, our Bali-based lingerie brand began as a personal project when our founder noticed a gap in the market. In search of stylish and chic lingerie on the island, she began designing pieces for herself using her background in fashion. Having moved to Bali from Europe, she was able to create something totally unique by blending the two worlds. Soon, high-end lingerie met laid-back luxury and Gooseberry emerged as a symbol of comfort, elegance, and self-expression.
Since then, the brand has evolved into a globally recognized label with an expansion into swimwear and clothing – all while sticking to its roots. Co-led by daughters, Gooseberry remains a family-owned and women-led operation with a shared passion for female empowerment. This heartfelt journey — rooted in being for women, by women — has woven Gooseberry from an island dream into a global tapestry of femininity and refined style.
