What are they made from?

A luxurious pure silk shell, with power-tulle support panels on the lingerie styles and delicate lace detailing on some pieces. Silk is a natural, breathable fibre — beautiful, but delicate.

Hand wash in cold water with a gentle detergent, or dry clean. Don't wring — press gently and lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight. Avoid perfume and deodorant contact, and iron on low if needed.

How should I store it?

Fold and store flat or on padded hangers, away from anything that could snag the silk.

Who is behind Gooseberry?

Gooseberry is women-led and family-owned. It was founded in Bali in 2012 by Pascale, and it's still run by the family today — designed for women, by women.

Where and how are your pieces made?

Every piece is cut, sewn and finished by hand by our artisans in Bali, made to order in small batches. It's slow fashion, crafted with care from the lacework to the finishing.

What is Gooseberry doing for the planet?
